A bit of a commotion

I arrived to a bit of a commotion, some crows got too close to the Avocets nests, and they were seeing them off. Linda was keeping an eye on things. I’ve bought a yellow bucket! I want the cows to familiarise this bucket with a treat so they can be handled better later on, I put some food in it and shout them over to the gate area, an extended “cooooooo mon” usually gets their attention. They came trotting over and tucked into the food with the yellow bucket close by. After they had eaten, they wandered off again hopefully remembering the yellow bucket and what it meant to them.
